Maureen Ann Mizwicki is a lifelong Chicago resident who takes a great deal of pride in her city and in all of the excellent work being done through Northwestern University. Currently, Maureen is a Senior Associate Director for Major Gifts within the office of development and alumni relations at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Maureen’s position falls under the umbrella of Northwestern Medicine, and she is dedicated to raising funds for the school and for all of its efforts. This includes the support of research and education for the comprehensive transplant center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
An experienced fundraiser, Maureen engages people throughout the Chicago area in the act of philanthropy and also reaches out to established philanthropists both locally and nationally in order to support the important missions of Northwestern University and particularly the Feinberg School of Medicine.
With her service on the NMTAC, Maureen brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the table, helping those who have been personally affected by organ transplant at Northwestern Medicine better share their stories and raise awareness of the need for philanthropic giving to NMTAC.
Maureen has been an active fundraiser for over 15 years and uses her extensive knowledge of Chicago as well as Northwestern Medicine in order to help further the efforts of the Comprehensive Transplant Center. “People who come to Northwestern Medicine for organ transplants have their lives transformed by the doctors, nurses, and researchers who work here,” Maureen has said. She enjoys the opportunity to help advance such an important endeavor that will positively affect so many people’s lives in Chicago and potentially around the world.
